edding are excited to announce that their aluminium barrelled markers will gradually transition to 100% recycled aluminium throughout 2025.*
Small Steps, Big impact
By using post-consumer recycled (PCR) aluminium for the barrels, edding have significantly lowered their CO2e footprint. Compared to producing with virgin aluminium, they will save approximately 90% CO2e per marker barrel.
The Source is Electrifying
As a result of extensive research and development, the aluminium sourced, from power lines and printing plates that are no longer in use, is ideal for recycling and repurposing, ensuring high material purity for the marker barrels.
